How Cameron’s Passion for Day Trading Was Born

Cameron’s love for the stock market began in 5th grade. He remembers his uncle making a fortune out of stock trading. His first ever trade was in Ameritrade in high school in 2001. Ross Cameron credited the account with 1000$ and invested in several companies like Caterpillar$ CAT and US Steel $X.

However, Ross’s plans didn’t materialize, and he studied to become a teacher. His father was diagnosed with lung cancer, and he had to work at a gas station to make ends meet (Ideamensch).

After his father’s death, Ross graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Design From Vermont College. Seeing his childhood friend succeeding at trading motivated him to invest some money he had inherited from his father. Finances mentor Ross Cameron has made multiple investments and incurred losses as well. However, he has learned the strings of trading. Investing when the stakes were high was his turning point. Now Ross is an expert trader and urges prospective day traders not to give up but to persist in trading.
