Ross Cameron Discovers Success in Life and the Stock Market
Ross Cameron is a popular YouTube personality in the finance niche. He specializes in stocks.
The Passion for Stocks
Ross Cameron´s interest in trading developed when he learned about his great-great uncle’s success in the stock market; he was in about the fifth or sixth grade. He also learned how expensive it would be to purchase stocks as the commission to buy and sell would cost $100 at his local Edward Jones office.
His First Account
In 2001, the YouTube personality began his career and funded his first stock trading account with $1000 and purchased companies he knew, including Pfizer, Caterpillar and ExxonMobil. By summer’s end, the account value was about the same. Despite this discouragement, Ross continued to work odd jobs and accumulate money for his passion.
Tragedy Strikes
Unfortunately, his father was diagnosed with cancer and passed away at 61 in 2007. After this event, the business leader Ross Cameron had trouble finding direction. However, he had enough to begin trading after receiving part of the money from his father’s estate.
Inspiration and Success
With inspiration from a friend who made about $16,000 trading a penny stock, the financial mentor Cameron combined his money with $30,000 from a credit card. Initially, he had trouble trading and created a deficit. However, this savvy day trader didn’t give up and eventually turned about $500 into $10 million. Now, he helps beginning traders find their way.
Life Balance
Ross Cameron believes in building a solid family foundation. When he’s not at the computer, you can find him riding his mountain bike, sailing or spending time with his two boys. Ross also enjoys classic cars and is happily married.
