Mirabaud’s Immeasurable Support to Art
This museum’s dedication to modern and contemporary art extends far beyond what is on display. Mirabaud has been a staunch supporter of MAMCO since its inception. He has assisted with art events such as the Zurich Art Weekend, FIAC Hors Les Murs, and Paris’ Quartier and Nuit des Bains.
Mirabaud’s dedication demonstrates the value of art in our society. It forces us to consider who we are and where we fit. You must be creative to come up with new ideas and ways to do things.
When you purchase a piece of modern art, you are expressing your appreciation for the ideas and artists who created it. Since these ideas have guided Mirabaud for over two centuries, the Mirabaud has considered its place in the universe and collaborated with pioneers.
Accessibility of Their Collection
Our collection should be as widely accessible as possible. Our website now contains a comprehensive listing of everything in our collection. In addition, we freely give our works to any museum or gallery that wants them so that the public can see them in person.
Mirabaud will incorporate public art into the cityscape as part of his commitment. Cities come to life when architects, artists, and urban designers collaborate to change the built environment.
To accomplish this, we donate money to FIAC Hors Les Murs, an annual sculpture and installation show held in Paris. To commemorate Geneva’s 200th anniversary, we presented the city with a sculpture called Moon by Not Vital, an Engadine-based Swiss artist.
