AIS Healthcare Provides Quality Patient Care
AIS Healthcare has been providing quality care to patients since 2008. Founded in Dallas, Texas, AIS currently provides targeted immunotherapy and targeted drug delivery to immunocompromised patients across the southeastern United States and has recently announced expansion to the northeast.
Founder and president Charles “Chuck” R. Bell, Jr. began working in the field of home infusion therapy in 1992 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and achieving a PharmD from the University of Arkansas. Each member of the AIS Executive Board brings with them years of experience in the healthcare industry as both workers and on executive teams. Additionally, the pharmacy leadership and nursing leadership teams work to ensure that AIS Healthcare exceeds expectations for patient care.
The Advanced Infusion Care (AIC) division provides immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy to patients with immunodeficiency conditions. Trained and nationally accredited AIC nurses administer intravenous and subcutaneous therapy, as well as being available around the clock for patient education and management. With accreditation from both the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) and the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), AIC is regularly inspected by both national and state pharmacy boards. With the planned expansion, 180 AIC nurses will soon be available in 40 states.
Two 503A compounding pharmacies work to provide patient-specific medication of the highest quality to patients across all 50 states. An average of 140,000 prescriptions are filled and shipped annually from two URAC-accredited facilities in Dallas, Texas and Ridgeland, Mississippi. Both facilities exceed United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards for compounding pharmacies, including enacting enhanced contamination-control procedures and doubling the amount of cleanroom certifications required per year.
AIS Healthcare continues to move forward in administering quality care to immunocompromised patients.
