Steve Ziekme
Steve Ziemke, the owner of Gulf Coast Western, started in the construction industry in 1981. Steve purchased Gulf Coast Western from his father, Roy Ziemke, in 2001, who retired after 37 years in 2003.
It specializes in designing and building custom homes throughout southeast Texas. Steve and his team offer a full range of services, including design, architectural renderings, site selection and subdivision construction considerations, land development, site development and utility infrastructure design/build-outs with residential building contractor relationships for turnkey home projects or stand-alone custom designs for a new homeowner’s lot. Steve focuses on building custom homes for a client who wants a quality product for the best price possible.
Steve believes Gulf Coast Western can satisfy any customer’s needs. From simple one-story home construction to large custom homes with resort-style amenities and high standards in design, Steve feels he and his team will exceed expectations. The Ziemke Team has many years of experience in residential construction in the Houston area and across southeast Texas, including city permits and inspections, construction site coordinating, masonry work, and much more. Steve enjoys working closely with his customers and creating a personal relationship that involves helpful consultations before decisions are made on the home design or project plans.
The Ziemke Team also manages and continues to develop several residential subdivisions within the greater Houston area. These include Heritage Grove, Woodland Springs and Kildare Farms. Steve is extensively involved in all subdivisions, from land development design and construction of homes. From conception to completion, Steve Ziemke is directly involved with all aspects of the subdivision process.
It offers services for commercial buildings as well. GCSW has worked with various customers, including large sporting arenas, hotels and office buildings.
